Currently we have a Meet the Optometrists page, optical assistants and head office staff are coming soon!
The Charity Vision Care is an Organisation set up in 2003 to provide eyecare for the homeless and other vulnerable people in an accessible and friendly environment. Since our inception, most will testify that a high level of service has been provided to many at three locations, two in London and one in Birmingham. The details of the venues and clinic times can be found on their website (www.visioncarecharity.org).
As this service is provided free of charge, they rely purely on the goodwill of Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians, Optical assistants and Receptionists. As one of the founding members of the Charity I can confirm that there is a tremendous satisfaction attained from giving something back to the community in this manner. We are in a unique position at The Outside Clinic to help. We have a highly skilled workforce and extensive expertise in providing eyecare to those who may be “vulnerable”. I call on you to donate whatever time you can, in whatever capacity, to help continue providing this wonderful service. For further information, please visit the website or call 0207 0172016.
Many thanks. Edwin Achu, O.O
