The Outside Clinic is the longest established, national, domiciliary optician in the United Kingdom. Our years in practice have enabled us to create an eye-care service that is tailor made to the "at-home" patient.

On request The Outside Clinic will organise an optometrist to examine eyes in your own home. Our visiting optometrists are equipped to detect glaucoma,cataracts and other potential visual problems. They also provide
helpful advice and assist with choosing the best frames and lenses when required. The spectacles are then manufactured in a dedicated laboratory. A second appointment is arranged for the spectacles to be delivered; our optical dispenser will ensure the best possible fitting for you. We currently provide services for:

Throughout the year, should you require any further assistance relating to your eyes or spectacles, you need only to Free Phone The Outside Clinic aftercare service. Our patients are never without optical care. Your optician will also record a re-test date for your next sight test. As soon as it is due we will call you to make the necessary arrangements. The Outside Clinic home visiting service is free, and sight-tests are free to all those patients who qualify. There is a free range of spectacles available to those who qualify. There is a free range of spectacles available to those who are in receipt of appropriate benefits. In addition, a choice of other frames from our extensive range is available from as little as £10. For those paying privately, spectacles complete with single-vision lenses are available from £49.95.
