Our registration with the General Optical Council and affiliation with other professional bodies in the industry, our enviable reputation and experience in the field of domiciliary eye care, the excellence of our professional and support staff and the many hundreds of people we have assisted throughout the United Kingdom for more than twenty two years - these are our credentials.
The Outside Clinic is registered as a Body Corporate with the General Optical Council (GOC) and our practitioners are registered with the Association of Optometrists. The Outside Clinic is also a full member of The Federation of Ophthalmic and Dispensing Opticians (FODO).
All our optical personnel have had an Enhanced Disclosure for POVA (Protection of Vunerable Adults) from The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) which they carry with them at all times plus identity cards and any evidence of insurance. Our professional staff are registered on the performers list with their local Primary Care Trust (PCT) and The Outside Clinic Body Corporate is a registered contractor with every PCT in England, Scotland and Wales.
In addition to the above, which demonstrate our professional competency to administer eye testing and dispensing services, we have over twenty two years' experience delivering home optometry services to thousands of satisfied clients throughout the United Kingdom.
