The Letter Chart
Testing your eye's vision
This test fine-tunes the prescription estimated by the previous retinoscopy.
During this test the Optometrist will show you a choice of lenses and using portable illuminated test charts along with trial lenses/frames, they will decide which lens makes your vision clearer. Based on your answers, the optometrist will be able to determine which exact prescription is best for you. The letter test tells the optometrist how long-sighted or short-sighted you are.
