Falls Awareness Week 20th - 24th June 2011
Every year more than 3 million people aged over 65, and half of those over 85 will have a fall.
What's not true, however, is the common belief by old and young alike that falls are just another
inconvenience to put up with.
During Falls Awareness Week, we'll be raising awareness of the simple interventions that can reduce
the risk of falls, Making sure they have regular eye tests and wear the right prescription glasses can help prevent falls.

National Eye Health Week 13th - 19th June 2011
The second National Eye Health Week will take place on 13 - 19 June 2011. Once again, eye care charities, organisations and health professionals from across the UK are joining together to promote the importance of eye health and the need for regular sight tests for all.

Optrafair Exhibition 2011
The Outside Clinic attended Optrafair at Birmingham NEC this year with a magic themed stand along with our very own close up magician David Bonsall, click here to visit his site.
As part of the magic theme we also ran a competition where people had to decipher what 3D image was in our Magic Eye. Our three lucky winners were Omid from London, Shree from Leicester and Stephanie from Birmingham who each won a Virgin Experience Days prize.
