Nature and scope
The post is Scheduling Advisor, reporting to the Scheduling Manager.
As Scheduling Advisor and first point of contact for both internal and external enquires, you will co-ordinate, plan and monitor the workload of our professional field based staff to ensure an efficient patient flow in line with company standards and targets.
Activities of the role
- Confirming resource availability to meet daily schedule capacity requirements whilst liasing with optometrists, dispensing and head office staff
- Demonstrating adherence to confidentiality and data protection legislation whilst recording sensitive patient information
- Maintaining computerised patient records ensuring high level of accuracy is achieved at all times
- Accurately completing company documentation and forwarding to external health care partners
- Dealing with internal and external queries and requests using own initiative

- Previous optical experience desirable but not essential
